Everything was nice and clear. I do not think it is necessary to chance the towels and linen every day, though.

The windows did in no way keep the sounds of the stree out, so i had to sleep with earplugs. On top of that the door between our room and the next also let every sound through.

Next to Russell Square station. Whatever you need, it is around you. Location is definitely great. Not the cheapest, but the room was nice and clean, if a bit noisy as it was underneath Woburn place, which is an extremely busy road. Room was spotless. Everyone was kind and polite.

Good location. Short walk to and from both Kings Cross station and Tottenham Court Road / Oxford street

Conditions of the room were bad. I was told it was “newly renevated” but that must have been about 15 years ago, the window was in polr condition and did not close properly. The bathroom door was crooked and could not be closed. The main door to the room did not seal properly and in the dark you could see people waiting for the lift through the cracks. Also the cleanliness of the room itself was poor.

The combination of location and price are superb; walking distance from the northern stations and from the west end.

Avoid if possible a room anywhere near the bowling alley on Bedford Way, where people hang out very noisily around the street entrance well into the early hours.

My incident occurred January 2nd, 2020. There was a lack of communication on the part of the staff. The hotel gave my room to another person without my knowledge and all of my belonging were still in the room. When I arrived back to the hotel, the hotel card that I had did not allow me to enter the hotel room. I immediately went back to the front desk and they informed me that another person was staying in the room. The day prior I asked if I needed to remove my items from the hotel room if they were going to assign my to another room, but I was told by multiple people at the front desk that it was unnecessary to do so. The person at the front desk informed me that I had to go to the housekeeping department in order for them to allow me to go into the hotel room and get my items (Which took some time to do). One of the housekeepers and two other men accompanied me to retrieve my items. I felt very self-conscious of me having to repack some of my personal items in front of men that are strangers to me, as a woman, but they were kind and apologized to me for the inconvenience. When I final returned to the front desk with my belongings, there was another extended wait to be given another hotel room. The man at the front desk also apologized for my inconvenience and decided to upgrade the hotel room. The hotel room was nice, but I had less than 5 hours to enjoy it before I had to leave to catch my plane to get home. I wouldn't stay there again.

The location is excellent: close to a tube station Russel square, there is a bus stop nearby, also you can walk (15 - 20) minutes to many sightseeings. The staff was pretty friendly and the room was clean and neat. There are also a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby.

The hair dryer is available only upon a request and with a deposit, the wi-fi is not very fast and a bit unstable. The window of our room looked at the inside "yard" of the hotel where there are almost always a lot of people so it was a bit noisy in the room (closing the window didn't help much). Also in case you like to sleep in you better get a "Do not disturb" sign (which was not available in the room).

I asked for a quiet room on the top floor and was granted my request. The room and bed were very comfortable and simply but tastefully decorated. Fine for one night's stay.

The continental breakfast was very disappointing. No fresh fruit, cheese, ham or anything, just weak, tasteless coffee and very processed bread, marmelade etc. The structure is in need of an overhaul, very old-fashioned style bathroom and no black-out curtains on the window.

Hotel is in a brilliant location just 10 minute walk to kings cross and 15 mins to Covent Garden Leicester sq and soho. Also has a cracking little bar connected to hotel.

Lokalizacja jedna z lepszych jakie można znaleźć w Londynie w tej cenie. Pokoje przestronne. Spaliśmy w odnowionej części i pokoje w zupełności spełniły nasze oczekiwania. Nasi znajomi z Hiszpanii mieli pecha i trafili do nieodnowionej części i tam już nie było tak ładnie, choć wciąż było czysto i schludnie. Przemiły personel w recepcji i informacji.

Śniadanie - fatalne. W cenie tosty, płatki i kawa. Za jajka sadzone, kiełbasę i fasolkę trzeba dopłacić 5 funtów, a jakościowo i smakowo jest to niezbyt warte tej kwoty. Do tego okropny bałagan na stołówce, personel nie wyrabiał się z obsługą i sprzątaniem stolików.

2 complimentary English breakfasts were a nice surprise for our New Year's stay at the hotel. One of the best locations you can find, especially if traveling from Heathrow. Good Wi-Fi connection is also a plus.
